The Bridal Path has been helping Mississippi brides feel their absolute best on their wedding day for the past 47 years. Audrey, Amelia, and Janie Jarvis have recently taken over ownership of the iconic bridal boutique and will continue to supply brides across Mississippi and the South with stunning gowns and accessories for years to come.
Audrey Jarvis began working at the Bridal Path the summer after her freshman year at Mississippi State University where she was studying fashion design and merchandising. It quickly became clear that this summer job was the gateway to fulfilling childhood dreams. "Ever since I was young, I have dreamed of owning my own bridal store. I quickly fell in love with working at the Bridal Path, returning to work holidays throughout my college career," says Audrey. Amelia Jarvis, the younger of the two sisters, also got involved with the small business. Much like her older sister, her love affair for the bridal fashion industry blossomed quickly. It was this shared passion that prompted the family to purchase the store, transforming the Bridal Path into a true family business. "Working alongside my family has been an absolute blessing. All three of us play off each others own unique strengths and weaknesses to make an incredible team. Our mother, Janie, is the backbone of it all. She is excellent at managing, keeping tabs on everything, and making sure our financials are in order!" says Audrey.

The Jarvis family has updated some things about the store itself including carrying more fashion forward gowns and accessories, and re-decorating the interior of the space. Despite the changes, the mission of the Bridal Path has and will remain the same. The Bridal Path is committed to providing every client with the one-on-one assistance required to find the gown of her dreams. "We are deliberate in carrying gorgeous gowns that fall into every price range. We aim to make every client feel absolutely beautiful, no matter their budget. Our mission is for every bride to walk out of our store with their dream dress and a happy heart!" smiles Audrey.
