Michelle said that she is inspired by seeing people take control of their own finances and personal situations, this not only drives her business but it’s what inspires her every day to do what she loves. Being able to assist in a major life decision means the world to her. Because she is a female owned small business, she finds herself inspired by other women that are doing the same thing and running their own business.
Michelle told The Vision magazine that during undergrad she worked as a real estate paralegal for a local closing attorney, and she formed a close working relationship with a local mortgage broker. In 2006, he convinced her to get her mortgage license while waiting to start law school. Michelle thought it would be a fun way to make a little extra money as a side gig, but little did she know she would fall in love with the lending side of real estate transactions.
In this industry, she continues to carve her own path always looking to learn and grow in the mortgage industry. Since Michelle grew up in Madison and had the opportunity to have her business there, she is driven to give back to the community that’s given her so much. Michelle is a girl boss and is always looking for opportunities to share her experiences with other women. With the hope that maybe one day it would encourage them to open their own companies in the future. She recognizes that she could not be where she is today if it were not for the help she had received from others along the way.
