       Michelle Dugan is owner of MS Lending and a boutique mortgage brokerage with offices in Madison and Ocean Springs.          Michelle said that she is inspired by seeing people take control of their own finances and personal situations, this not only drives her business but it’s what inspires her every day to do what she loves. Being able to assist in a major life decision means the world to her. Because she is a female owned small business, she finds herself inspired by other women that are doing the same thing and running their own business. 
       Michelle told The Vision magazine that during undergrad she worked as a real estate paralegal for a local closing attorney, and she formed a close working relationship with a local mortgage broker. In 2006, he convinced her to get her mortgage license while waiting to start law school. Michelle thought it would be a fun way to make a little extra money as a side gig, but little did she know she would fall in love with the lending side of real estate transactions. 
In this industry, she continues to carve her own path always looking to learn and grow in the mortgage industry. Since Michelle grew up in Madison and had the opportunity to have her business there, she is driven to give back to the community that’s given her so much. Michelle is a girl boss and is always looking for opportunities to share her experiences with other women. With the hope that maybe one day it would encourage them to open their own companies in the future. She recognizes that she could not be where she is today if it were not for the help she had received from others along the way.

Abi and Hunter have a classic love story. This dazzling couple had mutual friends and knew of each other for a while. Their circles would overlap from time to time, but they were not officially introduced until their friends Kinley and Weston set them up. After that Abi and Hunter were inseparable. Before they knew it, Hunter popped the big question. Abi’s big yes launched the soon to be marrieds into wedding planning mode. 
 
“We both have always loved Bridlewood,” shared Abi. “So we both knew right away that is where we want to get married!” Once they booked the venue of their dreams, all of the other details fell into place. Their wedding flowed with class and sentiment. Abi’s dress sparkled under Bridlewood’s canopy as she met her groom. “Walking down the aisle and seeing Hunter, nothing else mattered at that moment,” the bride reminisced. “Neither one of us was focused on anyone or anything else except the two of us.” After the “I do’s” Abi and Hunter danced their way into marriage surrounded by loved ones.

We had the chance to ask Dr. Michelle Crews about her business, Uptown Dental. Located in The Township at Colony Park they offer dental  treatments from general dentistry, crowns, Invisalign, and so much more!

Tell us what you love the most about your job. 
Michelle: Transforming people through their smile. It is amazing to see people smile more and feel more confident when they feel good about the way they look.  

What do you want people to know about your business?
Michelle: We do so much more than general dentistry! We offer a lot of cosmetic services- Invisalign, Botox, Fillers, Veneers, Whitening, Implants. We even treat Sleep Apnea. 

What is the most popular service that Uptown Dental offers?
Michelle: Same Day crowns for sure!  Our patients love that we can make their crowns in one visit. They don’t have to come back and get numb again and best of all… no temporaries!!!

"We often take patients with a lot of dental anxiety and turn that around for them.
