Sarah Chase Dulske, Alex Good, Carly Good, Honey Holman and Caroline Jaques enlisted Kendall Poole Event Planning to create their perfect event. Black and white details throughout the party mirrored the classic ambiance of the Derby. A delicious cake was covered in checkered icing, and vibrant red roses topped the tables.
In keeping with Derby tradition, the girls donned impressive hats and gorgeous spring dresses for a contest. Sarah Chase says, “I absolutely loved the hat contest! It provided us with a chance to play dress-up again. All of the guests put a lot of creativity and effort into their attire, which made the event even more fun!”
Guests also posed with loved ones in a photobooth. “I remember seeing my dad cry for the first time about my graduating and starting the next chapter of life,” reflects Sarah Chase. “The photo booth allowed me to document that moment with him in a silly way! The strip of photos I took with my dad remains pinned right behind the steering wheel of my car to this very day.”
America’s greatest race truly set the stage for an unforgettable event. As the girls adjust to life in college, they hold dear memories from their graduation party. Caroline treasures a photograph of the five girls with their mothers. “We are all such great friends,” she says sweetly. “That picture really captures the wonderful support systems we all have at home.”
