J A C K S O N , M I S S I S S I P P I It’s officially Christmas Party season. We know there’s so much to cover from invitations, to venues, to outfits. And we can’t forget the food! Luckily, our friends at 4Top Catering are making party planning a breeze with their holiday catering menus from Anjou, Char, and Amerigo. Each restaurant has a delicious selection of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and sides, so you can mix and match to create your ideal meal. Just imagine rolling up to your in-laws with a whole turkey from Anjou, the goat cheese and walnut salad from Amerigo, and Char’s cornbread dressing. There’s no doubt in our minds that you’ll be the new favorite. Just keep in mind that all holiday orders must be placed no later than Tuesday, December 21st by 5pm. Head to Anjou, Char, or Amerigo’s websites to check out their Holiday offerings, and we can’t wait to see what you pick for your next Christmas Party.
F L O W O O D , M I S S I S S I P P I Open House Alert! SKIN the Spa at the Runnels & North Outpatient Plastic Surgery Center is hosting their Annual Holiday Open House tomorrow, December 1st and Thursday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You can call or stop by to purchase your skincare products, treatments, injectables, etc. They also have a bunch of amazing door prizes that you can enter to win! These are the specials that will be happening during the open house:
Aileen Daghmach is SKIN’s licensed Medical Aesthetician, Certified Laser Tech, and Licensed and Certified PMU Tattoo Artist. She said they have the best open house as far as Medical Spas go in the state of Mississippi. “We are not a place that has a sale every month, but once a year we have an amazing sale, and it’s our Open House! This is a way for us to say thank you to our loyal patients and clients. It’s also wonderful opportunity for people to come see what we’re about and ask question that they are curious about- everything from a chemical peel or injectables, to a facelift or tummy tuck.” One of Aileen’s favorite quotes is “any woman can look her best if she feels good in her skin. It’s not a question of clothes or makeup. It’s how she sparkles.” Come check out SKIN the Spa’s Open House and treat your skin so you can sparkle too! R I D G E L A N D , M I S S I S S P P I The holidays are the PERFECT time to try out Lash Extensions for the first time. With holiday parties and family get togethers, Lash Extensions are one way to step up your look this holiday season. The Lash and Brow Gals say go a little more dramatic for the holidays, girl!
Raegan Smith, The Lash & Brow Gal herself said, “If you’re thinking about getting lashes for the holiday do it now! We book up really fast for the holidays, especially for the month of December. People typically book months out, so it’s important to get on our books now.” Lash Extensions get a bad rap, but as long as you are going to someone who is experienced and knows what they are doing it will not ruin your lashes. At The Lash + Brow Gal Studio, the health of your lashes is the most important thing to them. Reagan has been doing Lash Extensions on the same client for the last 10 years and she said that her client’s natural lashes are in the same condition as they were 10 years ago. If you are still a little hesitant about getting extensions a Lash Lift & Tint would be a good alternative this holiday season. A Lash Lift & Tint is a little less expensive, less high maintenance, and lasts a little longer than extensions. Visit their website to book your appointment or give them a call at 601.910.1106. R I D G E L A N D , M I S S I S S I P P I It’s the most wonderful time of the year and our friends at Renaissance at Colony Park are ready to celebrate. The First Ridgeland Baptist Children's Choir will kick things off followed by performances by Ballet Magnificat and the Lonely Hearts. Be sure to stop by and add some Christmas cheer to your weekend! The Renaissance Home for the Holidays Open House takes place this Sunday, November 21st from 2-5pm. J A C K S O N , M I S S I S S P P I Is the family looking for a fun activity this holiday season? Well, mark your calendars for Journey to the North Pole at the Mississippi Children’s Museum happening November 22- January 2!
Journey to the North Pole is an immersive experience in the Gertrude C. Ford Exhibition Hall where it has been transformed into a magical winter village of twinkling lights and train cars. Only a few feet from the entrance into the exhibit will also be a 45-foot slide down the center staircase of the museum called the Snowflake Slide! How cool!? The Eudora Welty Poarch is temporarily closed, and it will reopen on November 22 as an exciting new addition to Journey to the North Pole- even more of a reason to check out the exhibit this year! Clara Williams, Digital Media and Website Coordinator for the museum, said this event is perfect for the whole family. “I think what’s really special about this event is that it’s suitable to children of all ages. Small children can play in the winter village, enjoy a smaller slide, and write letters to Santa, while the older children can take a ride down the Snowflake Slide, which is suitable for children over 36” tall. The Reindeer Rink is also fun for any age, which is a slick surface that kids can slide around on with their socks!” See below for everything that’s included with a ticket for this exhibit. Also, this is the first year the museum has scheduled dates for Santa’s arrival, so see below for those dates and times. During Journey to the North Pole, guests will explore our holiday village which includes:
