The biggest shopping event of the year is almost here, and we thought it’s the perfect time to share a few fun facts about Mistletoe Marketplace. Here are 7 things you should know:
- What is Mistletoe and why is everyone so obsessed?! Mistletoe is the South's premier holiday shopping affair featuring spectacular special events, vendors, and more.
- 40 years young. The Junior League of Jackson launched the very first Mistletoe Marketplace in 1981.
- This Year’s Theme. This year we’ll be walking through a Winter Wonderland while we shop all of our favorite vendors.
- Come comfy! Trust us when we say you’ll want to rock your favorite sneakers vs those new booties you have yet to break in. There are over 100 vendors setting up shop this year, so you’ll probably want to take a lap or two take in all these incredible merchants have to offer.
- A little something for everyone. This year Mistletoe will have everything from cheese straws, jewelry, clothing, menswear, bath bombs, art… the list really does go on and on!
- Safe + Sanitized. The Mistletoe team has worked hard to assure the safest, most fun shopping experience for you from temperature checks to sanitizing stations. There’s even an online auction that you can participate in from the comfort of your home.
- Mistletoe Marketplace Cares. Not only is Mistletoe an epic shopping event, but it’s also an epic shopping event that gives back to the community. Each ticket sold and donation received goes toward one of the Junior League of Jackson’s community funds. These funds exist to help address immediate needs by providing emergency aid to community partners and service organizations such as Jackson Backpack Program and School Pantry Program, McClean Fletcher Center Outreach, Grief Support, and Food Projects, Helping Hands, Feed a Family, and a multitude of summer camps. Just take our money already!
