Yes, its summertime and the Twilight Concert series is ON! Put July 9th on your books because JJ Grey & Mofro and Big Head Todd & the Monsters will be at The Renaissance at Colony Park for the annual Twilight Concert Series.

The Twilight Concerts at the Renaissance is a series of outdoor live music shows held on The Concert Green at Renaissance Colony Park. Tickets are sold in pods of 4, 6 or 8 person configurations. Select from a table and chairs option on the field, or in a pod area without seating, guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort seating. Please no outside food or beverages- there will be some amazing local restaurants and caters on site for you to enjoy. 

"The Concert Green at the Renaissance is the perfect place to enjoy a show. I had the best time last summer watching The Revivalist and I am counting down the days until this year's concert," said Molly Haire an avid concert goer who attended the Concert Series last July and she's already purchased her ticket for this year's event.

Calling all pickle lovers! The Mississippi Pickle Fest will be held at the Mississippi Ag Museum on Saturday, June 11 for families and those that love some pickles! Come hangout from 3pm-- 8pm and enjoy over 50 different vendors. 

The Mississippi Pickle Fest is a refreshing taste of all things fermented. This fun-filled festival is a day of music, games, contests, and so much more. There will be TWO water activities, one large water slide and one small slide for pre-teens and younger only. This is included in the cost of admission, so make sure the kids are dressed in clothing that can get wet. 
The festival has partnered with local individuals and restaurants to provide fun pickle-themed foods and drinks. There will be something for everyone at this fun-filled family event. Admission is $8 (ages 3 and up) and you're not going to want to miss out- it's going to be a big dill!

Jackson folks! Mark your calendars for July 16 at the Mississippi Children's Museum for Neon Night! This signature summer fundraising event brings the Mississippi Children’s Museum to life with glowing lights, electrifying music, specialty drinks, and savory snacks. Guests are invited to “dress up” with glowing necklaces, rings, and bracelets, and dance the night away.

This event was established by a dedicated group of young professionals who are a part of MCM Partners and who value and support MCM’s mission to promote literacy, health, and education for children. As MCM’s “youngest” signature event, Neon Night has quickly become a must-attend party for the young and young-at-heart adult crowd. Learn more about Partners!

Butterfly Ball presented by Trustmark is a premium gala for Canopy Children’s Solutions. Canopy is one of Mississippi’s oldest and largest nonprofit organizations, serving throughout the state for 110 years. This organization is Mississippi-grown and serves children and families in all 82 counties. They provide behavioral health, educational, and social service solutions to help children thrive despite their circumstances or challenges. Canopy also works closely with Child Protective Services to keep children from entering the child welfare system, and they have a 98% success rate of keeping families safely together.  
The Butterfly Ball is an opportunity for the community to really get behind and support Canopy’s mission. 1 in 5 children struggle with their mental health and 4 out of 5 never get the help that they need. Last year Canopy served nearly 6,500 children, but they know over 130,000 children in Mississippi need their help and they cannot do that without the help of the community. This ball is one way to help Canopy do that, not only to raise money but to raise awareness, and bring the community alongside their efforts to help children and families in our state.  
This year’s event, chaired by Carla Lewis and Katie Puckett Ginn, will take place at The Westin Jackson on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Patrons will enjoy a seated dinner with a live and silent auction, and a big band with a musical performance that will be one to remember.
