If you are well and able, please consider researching and making an appointment with Mississippi Blood Services to donate blood. This is posted on their Instagram page: "Donating blood is considered an essential task under a "Shelter in Place" order. The need for blood is a crucial element in many aspects of healthcare, from treating chronic and catastrophic illnesses to trauma patients, to helping surgery patients and premature infants. Donating blood is safe and Mississippi Blood Services is taking every precaution recommended by the FDA and CDC to keep donors and staff as safe as possible. We ask that you continue to use our free mobile app, website or social media to find blood drives near you!"
