Wendy Putt and Julia Putt are co-owners, the lead designers, and more importantly, they are mother and daughter! Both Wendy and Julia studied floral design at Mississippi State University which lead them to pursue their passion and dreams. In 2018, Julia began working full time, and has loved every minute of it. She enjoys doing flowers for holiday parties, weddings, showers, and any other special event. Bruce, who is the husband of Wendy and father of Julia, helps assist the company by running the catering division, which is also well known in the area.
Fresh Cut also owns The Railroad District, which is an event space located in Jackson as well. The venue is perfect for corporate events and weddings too! It has more of a contemporary style and is a personal favorite among newly engaged couples. Fresh Cut recently ventured out by opening Galleries Event Rentals in Flowood! The showroom at Galleries will house many different options of rentals for events like tables, chairs, furniture, linens, serving pieces, and lighting. All three businesses are highly recommended by the community and continue to give it their all!
The company has been recognized nationally by well renown publications like Cosmopolitan Magazine for the South Warehouse space and has also been recognized locally as “Jackson’s Best Caterer” and “Mississippi’s Best Wedding venue”. Fresh Cut truly deserves all the recognition they receive because they are the best of the best!
