Steve and Wright Scott, owners of Great Scott in Jackson, Mississippi, are passionate about making sure their clients feel and look their absolute best, no matter what occasion they're getting dressed for. A true family business, Steve opened Great Scott in 1986 after years working for his great uncle at his own clothing store. Steve's son, Wright, followed in his father's footsteps and pitched in at Great Scott during high school whenever he got a break from sports and studying. Years later, in 2003, Wright permanently joined the team at Great Scott knowing he wanted to make a career out of joining the family business.
Simply put, the Great Scott team knows men's clothing, and they know it well. Every member of staff is knowledgeable about apparel and use that knowledge to select the best pieces for every individual customer. Inside Great Scott is a full service barber shop as well as two extremely skilled tailors to alter pieces for customers at no additional charge.
"My favorite part about what I do comes down to that moment where I get to show someone something new. I can boost their confidence, comfort level, and style by putting them in well made clothing that looks good on them. Our goal is to modernize people, we want to help them update their own personal style, not change it completely," smiles Wright.
