Out with the old, in with the new! 601 Sports, formerly known as Hobie's Sports and Outdoors, is proud to announce the launch of its new brand, complete with a redesigned website and logo. The newly branded 601 Sports will continue operations in both Vicksburg and Brookhaven, MS.

The new brand name pays homage to the Martin-Nez family hometown and original location of the first store in Vicksburg, MS, which Martin-Nez took over in 2010.
“Though the name Hobie will always have a special place in my heart, as we continue to grow and expand our presence in more locations, we never want to forget where we came from or the people who helped us get here,” continued Martin-Nez. “Hometown is extremely important and taking care of our customers has always been our number one priority. This new brand represents those values for us.”
