Happy Thursday y’all! Today’s blog is a very exciting one because we have some big news to share for Get Inspired Y’all! We wanted to share with everyone about our new Inspire Mississippi program!
The Inspire Mississippi program is designed and created to foster, grow, and celebrate girls from first through sixth grade with a focus on faith, family, and to create an inspirational future! The entire day will be full of fun, knowledge, and activities to help focus on character, confidence, and community!
Inspire Mississippi will take place on Monday November 20th and will begin at 9:00 A.M. with check-in. A group photo and dance party will follow before starting off the day! The girls will then be split into two groups, first through third and fourth through sixth, and will participate in all the same activities. We decide to split the girls up so that they are with other girls close in age and so they build personal connections with each of our mentors.
After morning classes, there will be lunch and a guest speaker followed another dance party to kick off the afternoon! The second set of classes and activities will follow and the day will end with a walk and introduction of each girl for family and friends to come see all of their hard work!
Again, Inspire Mississippi will be on Monday November 20th from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. and will be located at the Renaissance at Colony Park right next door to Gifts by KPEP! It is $175.00 per girl and that includes lunch, a t-shirt, a professional headshot, and all of the classes. Each class will be taught by our special guests so the young girls can take away as much valuable information as they can! The classes are:
· Manners 101 (Etiquette Class)
· Walking in Confidence with Whitney Gladded (Mrs. Mississippi United States 2018 and Mrs. Mississippi America 2020)
· Community Service Project with Nataleigh Nix (Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen 2023)
· Healthy Choices with Germaine Benoit from Nourished & Empowered
· Creating a Platform/Social Media with Lexie Harrison (Miss Mississippi Local Director)
· Speaking on Confidence with Emmie Perkins (Miss Mississippi) 2022
The Inspire Mississippi Program truly is a way for young girls to feel confident within themselves and to help them transition into becoming a young lady! It is important to teach young girls the importance of etiquette and building a platform while also making sure that they remain kids! You can head on over to the INSPIRE page on our website to learn more about the program or to sign up! There are only 30 spots available, and it is first come first serve so don’t forget to register to reserve a spot! Payments can be made through Venmo (@inspirems) or check, which can be dropped off at Gifts by KPEP during store hours or mailed to our address!
