OXFORD, MS — Locally owned furniture boutique and interior design firm SummerHouse, with a location at 405 South Lamar Blvd in Oxford, MS, plans to host an event on Saturday, February 10th in conjunction with the Lee Industries LEE LOVES LOCAL campaign highlighting the brand’s local brick and mortar retailers all throughout the United States.
Since 1969, LEE Industries has been handcrafting American made upholstery in North Carolina. They have built their business through their relationships and partnerships and their belief in supporting local. They are passionate about their retail partners and believe in the mission of supporting local communities. LEE LOVES LOCAL week, which runs February 10 - 17, 2018, is a week of events nationwide celebrating all things local.
SummerHouse’s February 10th event, which will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., will feature a pop-up art show from VIEW GALLERY, a Jackson-based gallery that represents multiple local and regional artists, cocktails by WithCo, an artisanal cocktail company out of Nashville, TN, and a book signing from 10 a.m. until 12 noon with Jean Allsopp and Lynn Nesmith, photographer and author of the best-selling book 30A Living. The first 20 guests will receive a free copy of the book.
“Lee Loves Local is one of our favorite events of the year. We enjoy teaming up with some of our favorite small businesses for a day of excitement and local love that we can share with our clients and friends,” says SummerHouse owner Lisa Palmer.
In 2017, SummerHouse | Ridgeland played host to a nationally highlighted LEE LOVES LOCAL event, which was co-produced by Traditional Home magazine and featured on multiple news outlets, design blogs, and publications.
