Edward Jones in a financial services firm based in Missouri, but they serve investment clients all over the United States and Canada. Their branch network consists of more than 15,000 locations and 19,000 financial advisors. One amazing financial advisor located in Mississippi is Cindee Herlocker.
Cindee’s focus is helping people plan for their retirement. There’s so much more that goes into that type of planning. As she works through her client’s path to retirement, things will change because people’s approach to life will always change.
She also helps her clients with estate planning. Estate planning can start early, young couples in their 30’s and 40’s need someone to help them because majority of that age group do not have policies in place outside of their work. She is also no stranger to working with entire families for their estate planning. Everyone from grandma and grandpa along with their kids and their grandbabies. Cindee helps her clients with different types of investments, structures, and make sure they are connected with good attorneys to protect all of their assets. There is a lot that goes into financial planning and Edward Jones has been working hard to refine their wealth management process.
People need a financial advisor because the majority of people don’t understand what makes the stock market work.
“Our world turns in a circle, we all evolve in a cycle, so your finances evolve in a cycle too,” said Cindee.
Cindee said that 2022 has started out to be a very unusual year. Which is good, because when we have volatility in the market, we have money moving, and when money moves it creates more money. This creates growth if it’s moving, we begin to worry when things become stagnant.
It’s important to work with someone who understands the financial world and will help guide their clients through the process. A financial advisor is not just someone who watches your money, it’s someone who is preparing you for your future.
“If you don’t have a plan to get you to a goal, that goal is nothing more than a wish. You must have a plan, and that’s what I do. I help people set plans to reach their goals.” You don’t have to be wealthy to start, people just need to get started.

Germaine Benoit is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Certified Health Coach behind Nourished + Empowered. She is passionate about helping others incorporate health and wellness into their busy lives. Along her own health journey, she has learned key tips she wants to share with you! Germaine is on a mission to help you learn how to properly nourish your body and empower your life so you can live on purpose. On her website, you’ll find a collection of her recipes and tips that she has used over the years to help strengthen her immune system, improve digestion and hormone regulation. We wanted to share one of her yummy recipes!

Inflammation is at the root of most diseases, so foods that fight inflammation are a no-brainer when it comes to protecting your health in the future. This recipe is a power puncher when it comes to liver detox, cleansing your blood, fighting inflammation, and protecting against cancer. Every single ingredient is perfectly designed by Mother Nature to detox and heal you!
Let's break it down:
  • Beets help to purify the blood and are powerful in liver detoxification. Both are important for skin and hormonal health. They also help stimulate the flow of bile, which helps you digest your fats properly. When you digest your fats better - you're able to take in more vitamins from your food.
  • Blueberries are packed with phytochemicals and flavonoids, in particular, quercetin. I probably need to do a whole series just on quercetin - but in short, every single food we tout as "super" is super because of quercetin. Quercetin is what gives food its deep color and acts as an antioxidant that fights inflammation, and blueberries are at the top of the list. In addition, quercetin has been shown to help improve cholesterol levels, heart disease, viral infections, cancer, allergies, cognitive issues, and diabetes.
  • Broccoli sprouts help detox the liver and are one of the best things to add to your diet to fight cancer. In addition, because of their detoxing properties, they are a great way to help balance estrogen in the body.

Blueberry and Beet Power Salad
Prep Time 00:05
Cook Time 00:40
Serves: 4

Main Ingredients
4 large beets
2 tbs avocado oil
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/4 cup of micro greens
2 - 4 tbs of fresh squeezed lemon or orange juice to taste

Recipe Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425*
  2. On a small baking sheet, toss the beets with the skin still on in avocado oil and a small sprinkle of salt
  3. Once the oven is heated, place the beets in the oven and roast until they are fork tender. This depends on your beet size - but should roast for about 35-35 mins
  4. Once cooked, pull the beets out and let them rest at room temp util you can peel them.
  5. Peel beets then chop into small 1/2 inch cubes
  6. Place in a bowl with the blueberries, micro greens and lemon or orange juice - I like to do an equal mixture of both orange and lemon juice
  7. Toss together and serve

How yum! We are trying this recipe ASAP, y'all!

This stunning venue includes a 1,500 sq ft open formal pavilion, an outdoor ceremony area, and a 10,000 sq ft event hall. All this living underneath a canopy of 250-year-old Live Oak trees linked between stone pathways- a bride’s dream, and we’ve got the photos to prove it.
The Reed House is part of a versatile and accommodating 130-acre Live Oaks Golf Club that opened in 1969. The venue area was just finished in 2021. Built by Kyle and Kathryn Morris in the original clubhouse location, and they named the venue in honor of Kyle’s mother, Jean Reed Adams. Kyle grew up playing golf at Live Oaks Golf Club with his childhood friends that are still playing alongside him today.
The beautiful property’s past is still present and preserved in the brilliant landscaping and lights beneath the canopy of the live oak trees, outdoor pavilions, and entertaining indoor space. We cannot believe that this amazing venue is only located about ten minutes northwest of Jackson.
The Reed House at Live Oaks offers an unforgettable backdrop to host your event, whether it’s an intimate gathering, glorious celebration, or somewhere in between. This venue was built around giving their guests the chance to bring their dream to life.
Cassie Williams Felder just got married at The Reed House on October 23rd and she can attest that this venue was her dream come true.
“It was everything I wanted and more. Kathryn and her staff are incredible and helped me with anything that I needed. Saying “I Do” under the massive trees with dangling lights and the sun setting was such a surreal moment. I felt like I was living in my own fairytale. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for my husband and I to get married. It was such a magical day,” said Cassie.

We are all guilty of claiming a “new year, new you” mentality whenever the ball drops. But what does it take to actually reach the new you that you’ve been dreaming of? Perhaps a refresh of your brand is what’s needed. Forbes Magazine says, “A brand refresh allows a company (or person) to highlight its(their) unique position in the marketplace, reinforce its(their) value, and gain a new perspective for what lies ahead.” So whether you’re working toward personal or professional growth, your image could benefit from a little zhoosh. Now, we know you’re probably wondering what your next step would be. Well, we wouldn’t be Inspiration if we didn’t have a plug for you. *Enter in Allison Muirhead.

Allison Muirhead, we know her, we love her. She is a fantastic photographer who can do anything from newborn to family photography, but did you know that she’s also a branding expert (yes, she really can do it all!).
