The Reed House is part of a versatile and accommodating 130-acre Live Oaks Golf Club that opened in 1969. The venue area was just finished in 2021. Built by Kyle and Kathryn Morris in the original clubhouse location, and they named the venue in honor of Kyle’s mother, Jean Reed Adams. Kyle grew up playing golf at Live Oaks Golf Club with his childhood friends that are still playing alongside him today.
The beautiful property’s past is still present and preserved in the brilliant landscaping and lights beneath the canopy of the live oak trees, outdoor pavilions, and entertaining indoor space. We cannot believe that this amazing venue is only located about ten minutes northwest of Jackson.
The Reed House at Live Oaks offers an unforgettable backdrop to host your event, whether it’s an intimate gathering, glorious celebration, or somewhere in between. This venue was built around giving their guests the chance to bring their dream to life.
Cassie Williams Felder just got married at The Reed House on October 23rd and she can attest that this venue was her dream come true.
“It was everything I wanted and more. Kathryn and her staff are incredible and helped me with anything that I needed. Saying “I Do” under the massive trees with dangling lights and the sun setting was such a surreal moment. I felt like I was living in my own fairytale. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for my husband and I to get married. It was such a magical day,” said Cassie.
