Sal and Mookies is excited to announce that Friends of Children's Hospital is their October Charity! At Friends of Children's Hospital, they strive to support and celebrate the lives of children and their families. Now in their 33rd year, the do so by promoting fundraising, voluntarism, and building awareness of our state's only pediatric hospital a Children's of Mississippi. Together they have raised nearly 30 million dollars to build facilities, purchase needed equipment, and provide caring services for hospitalized kids and their families. The Friends MISSION: We elevate the healthcare eperience for children in Mississippi to create hope, smiles, and a place where patients can be kids. Friends VISION: To create a brighter future for Mississippi by helping children stay healthy and happy. With a focus on meeting the extraordinary needs of the patients, Friends helps provide support to programs that enhance healing and meet critical needs. Friends has been a steadfast partner in the mission to provide life-saving care at the only hospital in Mississippi dedicated solely to caring for kids. Friends helped build the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, the Eli Manning Children's Clinics, and the Sanderson tower. The organization continues to provide support for the Child Life program, technology needs, and other capital improvements.
