Table 100 is one of those restaurants that you visit once and never leave.  The amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, hospitality and service turn visitors into frequent, loyal customers.  What you may not know is the story behind its beginning and two wonderful owners.
Bill Latham and Al Roberts have been in the restaurant business together for nearly four decades and in the industry even longer than that.  Bill purchased his first restaurant, Scrooge's, in 1977, and went on to purchase Sundancer in 1982 where he met Al.  Al's first restaurant job was in the late 70's and following that, he accepted a position with Benigan's Tavern in Houston, Texas, that allowed him the opportunity to go through one of the best management programs in the country at that time.  He moved back to Jackson and worked in the kitchen at Sundancer where he met Bill.  One year after meeting, the two became business partners.

In talking to both Bill and Al, it is no wonder that the two have been so successful.  They both have so much respect for one another and what they bring to the table, and the love that they have for their staff and customers shines above all.  "We have had a phenomenal partnership that's over 37 years old.  We have been blessed with great people over those many years that helped make us successful," says Bill.  "Bill and I have had a fabulous and fun partnership for a long time and we continue to have the opportunity to grow and learn with so many great people who work with us each and every day," says Al.  Bill and Al both attribute their success to the people they have worked with over the years and now the team that they have at Table 100.  "We have great customers, guests, and purveyoers that have been so good to us in Mississippi and the Jackson metro area.  Flowood has been awesome in every way and we look forward to many more years serving the area," says Al.
To find out more about Table 100 and all that they offer, make sure to visit their website at tableonehundred.com  and follow them on Instagram.  They are located in Flowood at 100 Ridge Way.

Phillip McDonald and Alana Jone's rehearsal dinner was a gorgeous night of celebration set under the large oak trees on the family farm.  They enjoyed the groom's favorite, a relaxed farm family-style dinner. Each detail was planned beautifully and had sentimental touches all the way down to the invitations.  The invitations were a slabof birch with laser-burned lettering.  They were placed inside a leather envelope and mailed in a moss and fall, leaf-lined box, which also came from the family farm.  Take a look at their dreamy night.

The biggest shopping event of the year is almost here, and we thought it’s the perfect time to share a few fun facts about Mistletoe Marketplace. Here are 7 things you should know:
  1. What is Mistletoe and why is everyone so obsessed?! Mistletoe is the South's premier holiday shopping affair featuring spectacular special events, vendors, and more.
  2. 40 years young. The Junior League of Jackson launched the very first Mistletoe Marketplace in 1981.
  3. This Year’s Theme. This year we’ll be walking through a Winter Wonderland while we shop all of our favorite vendors.
  4. Come comfy! Trust us when we say you’ll want to rock your favorite sneakers vs those new booties you have yet to break in. There are over 100 vendors setting up shop this year, so you’ll probably want to take a lap or two take in all these incredible merchants have to offer.
  5. A little something for everyone. This year Mistletoe will have everything from cheese straws, jewelry, clothing, menswear, bath bombs, art… the list really does go on and on!
  6. Safe + Sanitized. The Mistletoe team has worked hard to assure the safest, most fun shopping experience for you from temperature checks to sanitizing stations. There’s even an online auction that you can participate in from the comfort of your home.
  7. Mistletoe Marketplace Cares. Not only is Mistletoe an epic shopping event, but it’s also an epic shopping event that gives back to the community. Each ticket sold and donation received goes toward one of the Junior League of Jackson’s community funds. These funds exist to help address immediate needs by providing emergency aid to community partners and service organizations such as Jackson Backpack Program and School Pantry Program, McClean Fletcher Center Outreach, Grief Support, and Food Projects, Helping Hands, Feed a Family, and a multitude of summer camps.  Just take our money already!
So what are you waiting for? Clear your schedule, purchase a ticket for you and your friends, and get to Mistletoe Marketplace this weekend! To purchase tickets and learn more about Mistletoe Marketplace, head to their website https://www.mistletoemarketplace.com/.

Natalie & Mac {Wedding}

10/29/2020

Natalie never really envisioned her wedding before realizing she'd marry Mac.  Their story is really special, and we thought it'd be best coming straight from Natalie.

"Our story began November 8th, 2017, at a local sports grill.  Mac was a regular at said grill and I stepped in for the first time in my life wondering what in the world got into my mind to meet Mac Flynt at this type of establishment on a Wednesday evening.

Just to preface, mac and I have known each other for over 15 years.  We went to the same high school, were in the same grade, hung around the same circle of people, but we never dated.  We were both intimidated by each other (mainly me) and we refused to have a conversation.  We actually won a "Best Dressed" award together our senior year, and we didn't say a word to each other during the picture taking due to nerves.  Post high school graduation, we both went to Mississippi State University and not once saw each other or hung out.  After a few graduations, multiple relationships, and living in different cities, Mac finally sent me a Snapchat. Yes, that is how we reconnected.  We are so grateful for social media!

Back to the sports grill. No judgement whatsoever, but my first dates had always looked very different.  They were usually full of fancy, but this one was the complete opposite.  Mac wondered what we would actually have in common.  He's all country - cowboy boots, country music, big trucks, hunting - the whole enchilada. And I'm, well... not. Mac walked into the 'date' with zero expectations and thinking it was just going to be fun to catch up.  I walked in knowing that he was #husbandgoals and nervous as heck!
This date was different in so many ways.  We couldn't stop talking about all the things that happened in between high school, college, and post-grad.  Most importantly, we talked about Jesus.  That was the turning point for both of us.  We had both waited our entire life for that type of first date.  It was honest, God-filled, and intentional.  We both knew after the first date that we were going to get married.  I literally put in my phone after that first date on November 8th, 2017 'Anniversary w/ Mac' knowing that I would never have another first date again in my life.

All this to say, God has the most perfect timing.  He orchestrated events in our life just as they needed to be.  He molded and shaped our characters to perfectly fir one another and for us to reconnect when HIS timing was right, not our own."

We're not crying, y'all are! Needless to say, Natalie and Mac made it down the aisle with nothing but smiles on their faces.  "Walking down the aisle to my groom and him smiling and mouthing the woulds 'I love you.' It sounds so cheesy, but it was like the wold stopped and peace flooded every ounce of my being." It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and God.
